About Us

Since 2021 Fattingpark Copse has been managed by a new generation of arborists, ecologists and environmentalists, who are proud to continue the coppice restoration which began with Paul Horne in 1990's.

We work closely with local organisations such as the Natural History and Archaeological Society and the Bat Conservation Trust to update species records and habitat modelling data. A suite of annual surveys are undertaken to assess the condition of the woodland habitat and monitor the improvements.

We welcome research projects and field studies, please contact us to discuss ideas.
